A big day

Yesterday was a big day for Cami’s crew. They had a nice, long ride in the truck to town to visit our vet. They fussed a big, but then settled down nicely.

Once we got there I checked in, then put all the puppies in the back with the litter box, closed the lid and left them alone for a few minutes so they could do their job.

Apparently, I should’ve put two litter boxes in with four puppies. They probably all had to go at once and when there’s not room in the box, poop happens. And since I wasn’t watching (my bad!) somebody walked through it!

I had to apologize to the vet for my puppies with poop smelling feet…yuck!

Waiting for the doctor and looking pretty cute while we wait!

Now time for check-ups!

First it was Luigi.

Then it was Mario.

Next came Toad

And last but not least, it was Yoshi’s turn.

They all got thorough exams and those that needed microchips and health certificates (required for pups leaving the state or country) got those done too.

Then it was back in the truck with some snacks and water to tide them over for the drive home.

Once we arrived back home I let them have some free time in the garden pen so they could get the wiggles out after being in the crate for so long. You did great little pups!

Oh, and for their eight-week-old “portraits” I just snapped some cute selfies while we were at the vet’s office
