Well, we wrapped up our first five week obedience course on Thursday. And Summer and I passed! 😉 For not being really well leash trained at the start I was amazed how well she did and how quickly she picked things up. She’s definitely got a silly, playful side to her personality, but hidden under that blond mop of hair there are some brains too!

One of the sessions is held downtown alone the main road.

The rest of the time we have class at the fairgrounds
It’s hard to practice the down-stay when all my dog wants to do is roll and slide through the grass 😂

This young lady fell in love with Summer❤️
Belle the rescue next to Summer was born with part of her front leg missing. The last night of class she had a new prosthesis.
She did it!
The next session of class starts next Thursday and I’m trying to decide if I’ll take Summer through another session or another dog. Summer loved class (especially the cool, soft grass…lol) but wasn’t super fond of the car ride to and from class.
