Last night the boys got their baths. I trimmed their nails and faces and gave their booties sanitary trims. (I use the clippers to give sanitary trims just to clean up a bit under the tail. Because when you have so much hair sometimes poop nuggets get hung up there…lol) I had their puppy bags, supplies, litter boxes all ready and loaded them in the truck too.

Then they were tucked into bed for the night, because Sunday morning always comes too early!
I woke them up early, about five a.m. to give them an early breakfast. I want that food settled in their tummies before we hit the rode at about seven-thirty. The road leading towards the airport is windy.
I tried to catch a few more winks before I dragged myself out of bed and started morning chores; letting the adults out, taking care of Shiloh and her babies, feeding the horses (who are always happy to have their meal earlier) and taking care of the chickens. Yes, hubby will help if I ask him, but the animal care/chores is mainly my thing. (It might be because I’m the animal nut and the one who drags them all home…lol!)
Then I got ready, pottied the pups one more time, loaded them in their crate in the truck and headed down the road.

Once I arrived in Spokane, I gave the boys a potty break in the back of the truck and some time to stretch their legs and get some wiggles out. Then before the new owners showed up, I tucked the boys back into their crate with some food. Since they had breakfast so early, they also get lunch, or brunch while I chatted with their families went over paperwork and instructions and answered questions.

Then it was time to hand out some adorableness and take the first family photos!

Thanks, Jennifer! He met the rest of his family by FaceTime and now’s taking a snooze before his flight. Were so excited to have him.
