Five weeks is just such a darling age for any puppy! They are starting to get more active, but still very cuddly and so stinkin’ cute!! It doesn’t matter what breed they are. But there is something about a smushy-faced Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that just draws you in and wraps around your heart! Oh my!
Look at them!

They’ve had some changes this week as Shiloh and the pups moved upstairs into the puppy room.

They had their weights done, toenails trimmed, pictures done and we changed the paracord collars to real buckle collars (the “buckles” are break-away for safety reasons, in case the pups get caught on something). Hopefully with the regular collars it will be easier to tell the puppies apart at a quick glance. They look so much a like and are so similar in size.

Luke does have more white on his body, but Bo and Daisy both have a lot of the chestnut color. So unless I see the collar or pick them up and look at the “plumbing”, I can’t tell them apart. Well, Daisy is the most outgoing so that can be a deciphering factor at times.

While we were doing weights and pictures, they had some practice time in the soft carrier. They were very quiet and good.

And they had some playtime upstairs where I introduced them to Dalton, the Story-telling Dragon (a “talking”, moving stuffed dragon) and our Mojo the monkey who jumps around and makes monkey noises. The boys looked at both of these new things with curiosity, but Daisy, jumped on both…lol!
