It’s been a week!

It was a week ago yesterday that Indy brought her babies into the world for us to meet. They are all doing fabulous! At this stage in life it’s all about eating and sleeping. They are little butterballs.

Birth weights were between 5.2 and 8.3 ounces and at a week babies are now between 11 ounces and one pound!

They got their little ribbon collars changed as they are outgrowing them and their teeny toenails trimmed for the first time. We are doing ENS with them and keeping a close eye on them and mom. She does like to “bury” her food which messes up the bed. And she also likes to dig up her bed and lay on the bottom of the crate when she gets to warm. So hubby or I are always home to keep an eye on things because occasionally a puppy will end up under the bed! Indy you’re putting more gray hairs on my head!

One week old! And the girl on the left is the biggest but this picture angle makes her look a lot bigger!

Sweetness!

The red girl

Guess who weighs a pound and hogs the food bar?😂

The yellow girl

Look at the cute white marking on her nose!

The teal girl….Moo!Look at the “stepping stones” down her back!

The orange girl

Her blenheim spots are darkening up

The gray boy

Look at the waves!

That’s a funny way to sleep!They’re all precious pups!❤️

    • Hi Linda, they are going home Nov 17 and we’re matching them on Oct 27 🙂

Jennifer, if you knew how badly I wish you lived closer. I would love to have another cowgirl pup. I’m pretty sure Elsie would too. But the drive from here to there in Nov. could be a scary one. We’ve gotten snow in Denver on Halloween in past years. So, in Nov.? The drive to get Elsie was long, but fine and SO worth it. I wish I could wave a magic wand and pop a pup here. I’d be first in line.

      • There’s always planes 😉
