Our ground is saturated with water. It’s been raining so much!

Which means it hasn’t been ideal for puppies to go outside much. If it’s sprinkling it’s not a big deal because the puppies will be getting a taste of that in their new homes most likely. But when the ground is soaked and it’s miserable outside and I’m already soaked from doing chores outside and taking care of the animals, the last thing I want to do is drag the puppies outside. Then I’d end up with messy, dirty, wet puppies to clean and dry off. It’s not bad if you only have one puppy to deal with, but when you have a pack it’s a different story.

So we’ve played inside a lot lately. With brief periods outside when we could. But the puppies do care. They’re having a blast rip roaring around the puppy room!

And later today I’ll load them up for their first car ride to their vet appointment. That will be fun! More on that tomorrow!
