Well, Indy’s pups are starting their new lives today! Off they go with their new families and new adventures.
Yesterday we were able to sneak away and see our kids and the grand baby for part of the day. My SIL took care of everything at home while we were gone. The drive home in the evening was rainy and snowy (in some parts). We arrived home to see a bit of slushy snow on top of hubby’s parked car and little patches on the ground! I’m not ready for this…
I spent the rest of the evening loading my truck with puppy items and supplies and then giving the puppies their baths and tucking them in for the night.
Early this morning I got up and gave the puppies their breakfast. Since the road is windy leaving our place and for several miles after, I like the food to be settled in their tummies for a while before we leave. I try to catch a few more winks before getting back up to do chores and get ready to leave.
Then it’s time to potty the pups one more time, load them in the truck and head off!

Luckily for Tungsten, her family lives in between us and the airport, so I made a pitstop in their little town and met them. This is their second Pinewood pup so they knew the routine and I was able to hand them their puppy and the paperwork and supplies and then get back on the road.

Once we arrived at our meeting place, I pottied the puppies in the back of the truck, let them stretch their legs and then put them back in the crate with a snack aka early lunch. Now it’s time to meet their families and go over health records, instructions and answer any questions they might have.

Then the fun part, introducing each family to their new puppy and getting a family photo!

Every family today we’re getting their second Pinewood puppy! We feel so blessedš„¹ā¤ļø

And one last surprise, we are keeping Copper a bit longer for her family. But she came today anyways for the ride and the socializing. We’ll be sharing more as she hangs out with us and we continue her socializing and training. Let the fun begin!
Happy Life, puppies!
