The other day I needed some carrots for something I was making. So as I do in the winter time (okay, it’s not officially winter yet but once the time changes and it’s gets cold and snowy, I count that as “winter”) I went out to the garden to dig up some carrots.

And guess who went with me to “help?”

But first, a potty break

She was such a great help too…lol! Always in the way. But she had fun just the same. And I did get my carrots, and some beets dug up despite my distraction.

We use the used litter box litter “fluff” (minus the poop of course) as mulch between garden boxes. It really helps suppress the weeds.

“Hey, mom, someone peed in this stuff!”
