Well, in my effort to improve my dogs’ diets, I tried something new!
In the past, I have bought Kefir to add to my dogs’ dinner. Humans and dogs are in need of good probiotics to improve our gut health. Gut health and brain health are connected!
This time, I thought I’d try making it myself instead of buying it.
So I bought the Kefir “grains” from our local Azure standard. (If you’re not familiar; Azure Standard is a bulk food delivery co-op that sells organic, non-GMO foods and products. Orders are place once a month and our pick-up is at a local church parking lot where Azure trucks delivery the bulk order to many families in the area).
Then I visited a new local store in town that sells fresh milk, yogurt, meat and bread and lots of special speciality home-made items from area merchants and farms.

Then to make it easer to see the process, I made this video. Enjoy! The dogs sure did! 😉
