A busy (Happy Easter) morning!

Yesterday we attended a beautiful Easter service with our son and daughter(-in-law). It was a extra special Sabbath being Easter weekend, my daughter-in-law’s birthday (and her twin brother of course. Yes, one of our twins married a twin!) and our sweet baby grandson’s baby dedication at church!

Then we spent the afternoon with a yummy lunch and visiting with family and friends. My sweet SIL was tending to puppy duties at home while we were away for the day.

This morning was another busy one with puppy duties! Cami’s crew turned two weeks old this morning. So besides doing ENS and ESI, I trimmed their tiny toenails, weighed them, changed their ribbon collars and moved them and their mom out of the crate into a small puppy pen.

Usually I don’t move moms and babies out of their big, cozy whelping crates until closer to three week. But Cami is a big girl and her puppies are all growing fast. They just needed more room.

Since they are still young, the bottom of the pen is lined with a quilted absorbent pad. I’ll introduce the first litter box in about a week.
