I know a lot of people are wondering and have been frequently asking, “When will the waiting list reopen?”
My hope was to take a bit of time off from applications and adding onto the waiting list, so we could get the numbers down a bit.
Since we closed it we’ve had several litters matched and go home. What I might do is open it again after our current litters (Amber’s included) are matched with their families so I can remove their names off the list.
But please realize even if we do reopen it then, the list is still long. And I expect to get bombarded with applications as soon as it reopens which will probably bring the number of people on the list back up past the original number we had before we closed it.
So if you’re hoping to get on when it reopens and get a puppy soon, it won’t happen that way. The wait time will be probably anywhere from eight to sixteen months depending on how many people get on the list and what color/gender they want. And the wait time I give is just an educated guess. That estimate is just that, an estimate not a guarantee.
When we have a date to reopen the list and accept applications I will post it here on the blog.
Thanks so much!
P.S. This blog is regarding the Cavapoo waiting list and applications only. I do not have a time frame for the Aussalier list. As I have mentioned, our Aussalier waiting list has gotten quite long and we only have a few puppies each year.
