Little explorers

I was sitting at the kitchen table working on my computer the other day when puppy fussing noises behind me in the living room interrupted my thoughts. I turned around to see Oakley laying on the floor outside of the puppy pen with the three blue puppies happily nursing. They had managed to crawl over the raised area by the door and get “outside” to mom. Poor little Sable had to be rescued because the barrier at the door was a tad too big for her to crawl over. She was whining and fussing her displease at not being able to join the others for lunch!

After their lunch they started exploring the room. The past few days they have been emerging from their “little puppy” cocoons into the more playful, inquisitive toddler stage. This is where the fun really begins!
