Four days after Christmas the printer ran out of black ink.

Let me explain…

Remember how I shared the pictures of Sage’s other two litters with Clancy and the colors they produced together?

Here they are again. (Yes, these are from the same parents; Sage and Clancy) for these litters.

And then on December 29th (right after I got done brushing Sage and sharing this picture) she went into labor.

She was busy all afternoon and into the evening because it takes time to deliver seven puppies!

The first one was reddish/apricot. So were the second and the third. I kept waiting for a black or merle colored pup to appear. But apparently, like I mentioned above, she ran out of black ink! 😉

And we have a whole litter of reddish/apricots pups; four boys and three girls. These pups do have the possibility of having blue or partial blue eyes. So it will be fun to see when they’re eyes open and they’re old enough to tell, what color the eyes will end up.

Just a reminder Sage is a Cavapoo and Clancy is a Poodle so this litter is an F1b Cavapoo litter. Typically only a portion of the litter will have curlier hair like the Poodle parent and the rest will have coats like the Cavapoo (and a variety there too). Right now, I’m noticing three puppies with obvious waves to their newborn coats which will likely be our curly puppies.

These puppies will be matched with families on our waiting list on Sunday, February 6th and go home on Sunday, February 27th. If you are officially on our waiting list and interested in this litter please send me an email to let me know.
