Glory’s precious babies are four weeks old today! Aren’t they so cute?!!

Merry~2# 15 oz

Bright~3# 2 oz

Jolly~3#
They are getting playful (in their pen) and interacting with each other more. When they come out on the living room floor they are still a bit intimidated with the big, new space, which is normal for this age. But each day they will gain confidence and start exploring and playing more.
At this point Bright is the first one to come up and engage with me. Her sister Merry is usually next in line and brother Jolly usually sits back and observes more. This is typical in a pack of puppies. Usually there is one that is the first go exploring, check out a new toy or venture off by itself. At the other end of the spectrum is the more “quiet” puppy that will sit and observe before diving into something new. It will be a bit more “cautious” with new things at this age. The rest of the litter usually ends up in the middle of those two personalities. If a litter is larger, there may be a couple front runners and a couple more reserved pups at the bottom of the heap. But if you follow along with any of those litters you will hardly see this big difference in personalities by the time they hit around seven weeks of age. By then they are all happily playing, interacting, visiting and bouncing all of the play area whether that be the puppy room, kitchen, living room or outside (weather permitting).
Jolly enjoyed his first taste of cream cheese.

Puppy matching day for this litter is Sunday, January 23rd. Between now and then I will try to get as many pictures and videos shared so those that are interested can follow along and hopefully get an idea who their favorite(s) are. And of course, more observations about their personalities.
Anyone that is on our Cavapoo waiting list may email me to be added to this litter’s interest list for puppy matching day. I will take names for her list up until the Friday at noon before the puppy matching weekend. Although I must tell you I’ve already got nine people on the list as interested in these three puppies. Next week I will share the list of names in the order they are on the main waiting list so those people will know where they are for puppy matching day.
