A couple days ago I decided to let all the puppies out together and see how it went.(If you’ve been following along on the YouTube videos you’ve already seen the introduction). Of course I stood by and watched the interactions to make sure everyone would get along. The two litters are only three days apart in age, but as you know Sage’s younger puppies are so much bigger than Lyric’s puppies.

I washed them play for a while. Blanche was the only one not to sure about her big, rambunctious cousins so she would watch the action from the puppy pen.

I gave them almost the whole room so there was plenty of space to play and also get away from others should a puppy not want to be in the middle of the melee. After I saw that they were all doing well together I went back downstairs and monitored them from the camera.

And since then, they have been playing together everyday and loving it. They are so entertaining to watch!

And continuing to work on crate training during mealtimes. They’re not always quiet in their crates, but I wait until the settle before they are allowed out. This week we’ll work on individual crate times and other things as we enter the last week of having Sage’s pups with us.
