Cavaloves

Sky’s babies are growing and changing. They are getting more active and vocal with their puppy barks and growls.

I’ve moved them into the puppy pen (Joy and her crew moved to the puppy room to have more space for themselves) and given them their first litter box, the UGOdog litter box system. For those not familiar with this one, it’s a plastic tray with two grates on top. It’s the perfect first litter box because the puppies can toddle right off their bed onto the litterbox.

They weren’t too sure of their big new space when I moved them into it yesterday, but now they’re getting “the lay of the land” so to speak and figuring things out. And mom is always there unless she’s out for a quick potty break. She’s a sweet, attentive mother.

This morning, I changed the bed, washed her dishes and then added hot water to her food. I add water to Sky’s food even before babies are old enough to taste it because she tends to want to “bury” her food and spills it all over. Adding water helps to keep it in the bowl. As soon as I put the bowl back, little Scarlett staring tucking into the food like it was the first time she’d seen it and was starving! It was the cutest thing. I can’t believe she’s eating it already at this young age.

We still have quite a size difference; Romeo is the biggest and Rhett the smallest.

Romeo~2# 3 oz

Juliet~1# 12 oz

Scarlet~2#

Rhett~1# 3 oz

If you are on our main Cavapoo waiting list and interested in being added to this litter’s list for puppy matching please email me. I currently only have about four people on the list.
