Sky’s pups turned five weeks old yesterday. So my post and pictures are a day late! But with Raven and her new family taking up so much time yesterday, I was not able to get this posted until now.
Sky’s pups are adapting to the new bigger home in the puppy room and enjoying their playtimes. They are sleeping in a crate (I leave the door open so they can access the litter box at night). Mom is still with them some, but she is enjoying her times away from them more and more. They are eating soaked puppy food and using their litter boxes (with a few misses which is normal).
Juliet is an absolute lover of people. She’s the first one to come prancing to see me with her tail wagging ninety mph! She’s just a doll!
Romeo is Mr. Chill who is very good about entertaining himself with a toy and just chillaxin’ wherever he chooses to plop down.
Rhett is our pocket pup! He is just so stinkin’ cute with his small physique and big brown eyes. He’s small, but that doesn’t stop him from trying new things. He used the ramp for the first time with no prompting from me. I do put Snuggles the Snake (our big, stuffed animal) around the ramp the first few times so if puppies fall off they don’t hit the floor and he ending up crawling all over Snuggles.
Scarlet is the “middle child” not as social as her sister, but not as chill as her big brother. She a nice puppy!
And here they are for their proper portraits at five weeks.

Let the fun continue!

After picture taking I took them for their first visit to the great outdoors. They weren’t too sure of that wide open space so only Juliet ventured out of the basket for a few minutes. But they are only five weeks old. We’ll get them out more and more as they mature and pretty soon they’ll be exploring all over.

❤️
P.S. It’s almost time to match these cuties! And we’re thinking about possibly moving the “delivery day” from Sunday, April 17 to Friday, April 15th because of the Easter conflict.
When can we know about Raven’s puppies? Patience is NOT my middle name!
I’ll be in touch tomorrow as soon as I learn what’s next for my shoulder.
When I’m ready to share 😛
Yes! Excited for news about Ravens litter!
Skye’s puppies are super though!

Scarlet was appropriately named–she is a beauty. 😍
