*Always get Poodles groomed before they whelp.

Whelping is a messy process. And when mom is done, she wants to be with her babies. I mean usually the first few days, I can barely get them outside to go potty! So the last thing I want to do is drag them away from new babies to bathe, then have to dry, them clip then.

Well, neither Allie nor Flower got done before they had their babies. So their hair got a bit dirty and messy through the process and after.

The babies are now big enough to be away from mom for a bit so the bath and grooming can get done.

I just hope they recognized her when I got done. 😉  I took a “mop” away, and brought back this pretty thing. “Mom, is that you?!”
