And for some, it just may be a Christmas wrap of sorts. All of our current puppies have been matched with their excited, forever families. And I’m pretty sure there will be some excited children this Christmas.

And it’s never taken me this long before, nor have I ever gone through so many people on my list! The last puppy was matched with someone in the nineties. Yes, that’s 9-0.

A few people did drop off the list or asked to be removed because of life changes or they had already found a puppy elsewhere. But it was incredible to still have over fifty people pass because of color, gender or timing. (I get it. I know things come up in life and I also am drawn toward certain colors myself) 🙂 But I was still shocked by how far I got.

Oh, but can I tell you a secret? *whispers* We have three more round bellies around here. So we should have more available puppies going home the first through mid-part of March (which should make some spring puppy people happy!)

And now that our current puppies have been matched the waiting list has been updated but is still closed. (If you were one of the last ones added and don’t see your name, please contact me asap).

But if you are in the top part of our waiting list and are interested in one of our red Joy puppies (going home approximately on February 10th), please feel free to shoot me an email indicating your interest. (Please use the original email thread that I started when responding to your application to make things easier for me to keep track of).
