I know those that have filled out Aussalier puppy applications are anxiously waiting for news about pups. And I have some news to share!
We have puppies due any day!
After the scare we just had with Mercy and with the weekend fast approaching (we are supposed to go to Spokane on Saturday to spend the day with our kids. Don’t worry, my SIL is coming over to puppy-sit while we’re away). I decided to take Oakley in for an x-ray to get a puppy count and make sure we didn’t have one ginormous one that would get stuck! I don’t want any more surprising, complicated deliveries if I can help it.
She’s not huge.
But after two x-rays (different views) we determined there are three pups baking in the oven. Unfortunately, the x-rays didn’t show us color or gender. 😉
Once the pups arrive and we know what we have we’ll be working with those who submitted an application for the Aussalier list. I apologize ahead of time if there was some confusion on how that puppy matching will work. I’m afraid I’ve talked to so many people that I may have said one thing to some and another plan to others in my muddled state of mind. So let me clarify, we’ll be matching these guys just like our Cavapoos, in the order that applications came in. And again, I’m sorry if I mentioned to some that it might be first come, first serve.
If these pups are born sometime over the weekend (which I suspect they will be), they will be going home August 18th. If they don’t come until Monday, then they may be going home the following Sunday (the 25th). Please take the puppy pick-up date into consideration when thinking about being considered for a pup and make sure that day works in your schedule and that timeframe is good for adding a puppy to your family. We’d like to have the pups go home when they’re ready and start bonding with their new families. <3
