Treasure and Mercy and both doing great with their new Cavapoo babies (Mercy doesn’t even act like she had major surgery!) Dogs are so amazing. I remember what my C-section was like; ouch!
And since Treasure had seven pups and Mercy had only three I decided to share some of Treasure’s pups with Mercy.
Not to be too graphic, but Mercy has the biggest “faucets”. So I let her have two of Treasure’s bigger pups that could latch onto anything easily. It worked.
Now each mom has five pups to care for and nurse. And as the pups grow and start to interact they will be playing together anyway.
Sharing is caring! <3
What a super solution! They are lucky dogs to have a Mom like you!
It worked great!
Brilliant solution! Less stress on Treasure and some new sibs Mercy’s pups! This is why Pinewood pups are the best! They are being watched over and cared for by the most thoughtful “mom” ever!
aww..thanks! We try 🙂
Dear Jennifer:
Happy New Year and Congratulations on the Multiple Puppy Births! What an incredible way to start 2020.
Wondered whether you received my check for the waiting list and also, any estimate for how long the wait for a male apricot or reddish/apricot would be? We certainly would consider other puppies too.
Please let me know if you require anything else at this time and best wishes,
Cathy Budman
