Five years ago this past December we welcomed seven beautiful purebred Cavalier puppies into our home thanks to a breeding between Faith (now retired) and our Dickens. And that was the last purebred litter of Cavaliers that we had, and raised.
I do like to raise my own dogs for future parents, but it’s not always possible. In the Cavalier case, all my Cavaliers were related. That is until we bought Asher from another breeder.
Joy has been bred to Asher and I’m super excited to says she is confirmed to be pregnant! She is due the end of January/first of February.
I can’t wait to see what this next generation of purebred Cavaliers bring to our program.
If anyone is interested in a purebred Cavalier puppy, you are welcome to email me. Although I cannot guarantee you a puppy. I am breeding this litter for myself (I know, selfish, right?) and plan on keeping more than one pup (depending on what we get of course). I will likely only keep females.
My future plan includes breeding Dickens to Poppy (when she is mature and has passed her health exams). I would like to keep a son from that breeding if it all works out. I really want another Dickens son. Tragically we lost his other son from the last litter in a tragic, freak accident. Hopefully Dickens won’t decide to “retire” before Poppy is ready.
The gorgeous couple❤️
What beautiful babies they are sure to produce! Congratulations❤️
I hope so! 😀
