So the puppies feel like part of the family and can be in the middle of the activity they not only play in the puppy room but downstairs where I am working. But since I can’t really have the Cavapoo and the Cavaliers all together in that small of an area, I have the Cavapoos tearing up the kitchen and a smaller area set up with Iris pen panels in the dining area by the back door for the Cavaliers.
Our house is not very big so it does get a bit cramped sometimes trying to fit everyone in here. And why we have to rotate adult dogs through the house and not have them all in at once. The puppies take up a lot of room.
In fact, with the puppies in the kitchen, if I need something in the laundry room, garage or puppy room, it’s easier for me to go out the front door, then back through the garage and into the house then to try and walk through the kitchen and get through the laundry room door without letting puppies through the door with me or having my pant leg attacked! lol
My life is not normal. Don’t get me wrong, I love it. But I dream of someday being a “normal” person that doesn’t have Iris pen gates separating every room, solitude without the high pitched shrieks of puppies yapping and a clean, organized house. (Maybe I’ve been watching too much of “The Home Edit” on Netflix lately…haha). But for now, I’ll just be the crazy puppy lady.

Aunt Hope snuck in when the gate was open.

❤️
Well speaking for those of us on the puppywaitlist, thank you for being willing to remain the crazy puppy woman
Hahaha! 😀
