Aussalier time

Mom decided she wanted to go in the pen with the puppies to start with. And then of course, she wanted out. Oakley cannot be contained for long. 😉  The herding dog needs wide open spaces!

These puppies must be drinking pure cream from mom because they are little chunks. They are eating the soaked puppy food, but I think all the other litters are eating more of it. I mean, why eat food when mom is giving rich milkshakes still?! (They weighed in at 3# 10 oz, 2# 11 oz and 3# 7 oz!)

After taking pictures of them this week, trimming toenails and weighing each one, I went ahead and put “real” collars on them. I can obviously tell them apart but I thought this might be helpful for identification in the pictures and videos. As you can see in some of the photos they were scratching at the collars which is normally until they get use to them.

Jackson has a black “bad to the bone” collar, Cody is lime green and Cheyenne is a fuchsia.
