Another place the puppies can go outside to potty and play is our covered puppy run outside the back door. This is a covered area safe from flying predators with some different big puppy toys for the pups to investigate and play on. It’s a great place for me to take them to potty and stretch their legs after breakfast when I’m still finishing chores. I can safely leave them there for a while while I continuing to work. I can’t really do that in the exercise pens set up in the front yard. We have too many large birds that fly over that might try for a puppy meal!

Sometimes they get to have a picnic lunch out there. And they can meet the bigger puppies through the fence without getting “mauled” by the bigger more rambunctious teenagers. 😉
