It’s different now

Friday was the puppies’ vet appointment. We’re still not allowed to go in with them, but wait in the parking lot while they go inside without us. So in preparation, I fill out their paperwork to make sure each pup gets what they need (some need health certificates and some don’t, some get micro-chips and some don’t). And since I can’t get the cute pictures during the exam like normal, I got some when I could.

Before we loaded up to leave home, the pups went outside for a potty break.

Loaded up and ready to go!

‘Once we arrived, they took Hazel’s crew in first. So while I waited, I let Gracie’s pups out in the “portable play yard” (the bed of my truck) so they could potty, stretch their legs, get a drink and have some food.

Since we were near the highway we even got to experience some load road noises.

Then Hazel’s pups came back out from their appointment so they got to have their break while Gracie’s went in for their appointment.

Heading home.

The drive home was longer than expected as we got hung up coming home because of a wreck. So the pups had a long time hanging out in their crates, but they were troopers!

And it was a beautiful day for a drive.

As soon as we got home, I let the pups out for another potty break and some water and something to eat. They were ready for it after their long day. 🙂
