“What did you buy now?”

Oh, why can’t hubby be over visiting his parents or in town on an errand when those Amazon boxes arrive? hehe

Because most of them do contain something dog related. He thinks we have enough toys. I am always looking for something new and fun that will be a good learning “tool” for raising the puppies. Plus toys do wear out (or get chewed up) and you have to replace them after a while.

Here are three new “tools” I invested in for the puppies. These will all be used on toddler age puppies because once they get past that stage they would probably chew and destroy these three toys.

As you can see I utilize a lot of human baby/toddler toys. This is an activity mat for babies to lie on and play with the hanging objects. It works the same for puppies except they are on their feet doing the same.

This is something new that will give the puppies a “different” surface to get used to. It’s a water mat, a thick plastic mat that is filled with water which has floating toys inside. A human baby might lie on its tummy to pat at the mat. For puppies, it will be more of a strange, moving surface to walk on.

This one looks pretty fun! Although after I put the batteries in, I might change my mind. 😉 Yep, it’s a giant plastic keyboard for the puppies to walk over. It plays sounds and noises. This should be fun to introduce them too.

We tried out the play mat and you can see Hope was just as excited (if not more!) to try it out.

You have to do a video when you start to use the keyboard – that will be a hoot to watch – actually all the new toys will be fun to watch how the pups react

These pups are lucky to have a Mom who’s so good to them.
