Baby routine

Now that Amber and her babies are upstairs in the puppy room, new things are happening. This is where they are introduced to the crate. The litter boxes are placed right outside the door of the crate so as soon as they wake up they can walk out to potty. They’re doing really well.

In the morning after letting mom out for a break, I can feed the puppies breakfast in their crate. And to make things easier for cleaning, I just close the crate door. That way they get used to being closed in their crate and I can clean out litter boxes without a bunch of busy bodies in the way. And it gives me a chance to clean out their water dish and get them fresh water and replace their toys with some different ones, like this noise maker.

And while I’m working and they’re eating I can practice using the Puppy Sound app to get them used to different noises that they may not hear otherwise out here in the country. We also like to keep the radio on with some nice classical music for them. As they get older we switch it up so they hear different stations or even some talk radio too.

I love this app for our puppies!

And then it’s time to let them back out to play!
