Some of you may have found us after your internet search for two very popular breeds; the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Australian Shepherd. When these two are matched together we get the adorable Aussalier!

We had the first registered litter of Aussaliers (a beautiful combination of Cavalier and toy Australian Shepherd) with the American Canine Hybrid Club. When we had our first litter, I searched the internet for the breed or breeders and all I found was someone’s old “random” ad for some Aussie/Cavalier crosses that they called Aussaliers. Anyways, I like to say we had the first “officially recognized” litter as we took the time to have them recognized and registered with the American Canine Hybrid Club. If you Google “Aussaliers” you will see the breed was started by a breeder in Spokane, WA (that’s us!) Here is their breed information page with pictures of our puppies.

We planned on another litter, but unfortunately, our beautiful Aussie was killed in a tragic accident. It took some time before I was even ready to start over researching breeders and adopt another puppy.

Our second toy Aussie, Oakley is all grown up now producing some beautiful Aussalier puppies for us. We added another Aussie girl to the family sometime in 2020 (Quinn, who is actually related to Oakley.  We only have a few Aussalier puppies each year.

***Aussalier update*** Oakley is confirmed pregnant from Dickens for her very last litter of Aussaliers before she retires. Puppies are due the end of July/first of August 2021. This will be our last litter of Aussalier for about a year. And that is if Quinn passes all her health requirements and gets pregnant. If you are on our Aussalier list and interested please email me. If you’re not on our list, stay tuned to the blog. We may be accepting a few applications for this litter is there is not enough interest from our list. Thanks!
