A few firsts!
Yesterday was the day! Was it warm? No. Was the ground nice and dry? No. Was the sun shining? No. But we decided to venture outside anyway! I love taking puppies out into the garden because it’s a large, fenced-in … Continue reading

It is pretty
Winter has arrived here on the farm. I don’t care when the calendar says “winter begins”. Winter begins for me when the days are cold, the nights are colder and snow blankets the landscape. It is pretty with the white … Continue reading

Saturday snapshots on a holiday
Puppies, puppies, puppies! They sleep, they eat, they potty, they play. And then the humans went for a picnic lunch at the lake. Remembering too what this holiday represents…All gave some, some gave all. ❤️💙

Weekend walks
It was drizzly and rainy Saturday afternoon but it was still nice to get out in the fresh air for a walk with the dogs. We have a “neighborhood” loop that we like to walk. It’s not long (about 3/4 … Continue reading

Planning ahead
As a dog breeder, I always have to be looking to the future; researching, planning, etc. I kind of compare it to a farmer. My father-in-law used to farm grapes and almonds. Plants and trees have to “retire” at some point, … Continue reading
Winter farm tour
Even though I have a ton of work to do, I couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures around the farm this morning after we received a nice snowfall during the night. Enjoy!

Changes
The weather has cooled, the wood stove has been more active and the trees and bushes are changing their little leafy coats into vibrant hues. Fall is definitely here! And we’re seeing changes in the dogs too. More of … Continue reading
