Pupsicles

Last week when it was so, so hot, I pulled out the pile of doggie plastic containers and made popsicles for the dogs. (And now we have weather that feels like fall!)

These are easy to do and make a nice cool treat for any dog on a hot day!

I searched through the refrigerator and pantry for what I had on hand and decided on bone broth, carrots, turkey hot dogs, cheese and blueberries. You could put any treats, veggies, fruits etc inside. Whatever you think your dog would like.

I didn’t fill the bowls all the way up as I was trying to freeze and feed them all in the same day.

All done and ready to freeze!

Into the freezer we go.

I’m so thankful we just picked up this new freezer at Costco and love the drawers for easy organization.

I already have one drawer full of Cornish game hens that I found on sale. The big dogs love these for dinner once in a while.

Journey (and Cody) pre-approved the popsicles for all the dogs. 😉

Yummy!
